MISSION
The primary mission of an infantry regiment is to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy by fire and manuever, or to repel his assault by fire and close combat.
The regiment is capable of limited independent operations when appropriate units are attached.
25th Marine Regiment is one of three infantry regiments in the 4th Marine Division. The regiment commands fifteen training centers in nine states from it's headquarters in Devens, Massachusetts. |
